I used to have an iPod...
Ah, bless the bloggy world. Such fun to be had. Saw the coolest little video thanks to Mr Gray.
I posted my grandmother's birthday present today, late, of course. I also FINALLY posted Meghan's present, well over 7 months late... I'm no good with mail. It's a curse. Anyway, they're gone now. I have only one more thing to post - Finn's journal. Which is gonna be heavy. Nuts.
I took apart my iPod tonight, just me, a screwdriver, a bunch of bobby pins, and a pair of pliers. Good fun, but it's still not working. On the upside, I now know how to change the battery and the hard drive. So, if I can get a hard drive second hand from an iPod that had a bung battery, I'll be sweet. Unfortunately, I don't think that's gonna happen. I may have to buy a new one, which is gonna be expensive. And a dilemma. I could get a 20/30gig, now I don't need it for storing data, or I could get a 60gig for only $100 or so more. Double capacity for $100... purr. I so don't need it, but it would be handy, since my iBook HD is only 30. I'd like to be able to store song files in organised folders and not have to sift through the invisable iTunes folder. So... tough call. I'll have to look into pricing on HDs. Alternately, I could get a bigger HD for my iBook. Or can I? Dunno. Will have to check my capacity for ungrades on this thing. I know I can add more RAM... help?
