I'm in the library, should be job hunting but the view is so relaxing and I'm warm and comfy. And have been reading knitting books, which is silly, as now I just want to knit...

hot: NZ lamb for dinner!
not: I miss our Lizzie
music: None, iPod (Oliver) has fallen asleep, charger is too far away.
mood: Good, open, spring is in the air and I'm feeling quite positive.
goals: For today? Just to enjoy it. And post a couple invoices.
food: I ate chicken nuggets and peas for lunch.
attire: half jammies, half proper clothes. ie Mess.

It's been YEARS since I blogged, just before I left Australia I think, but I'm going to make myself do it again. I like reading back on what I wrote back then, and later it'll remind me of all the things I did do, rather than just relying on my memory, which tends to only store information on my little failures. Also, I'm gonna focus on all my crafty projects, so maybe that'll help me stay motivated. Maybe. It probably won't make me any better at going to the post office. Sorry.

I ended up getting the Senheisser 555s, which are lovely and I love them. Sort of. I like them a lot.

Anyway. I have too much I could write about, so I won't write anything. It's easier this way.

Adoption

I went looking for new headphones today. I have a plan B, just buying the same ones I have again, but I want to try something new. I figure the fact that I've had my current ones for four years means I'm allowed to buy some nice fancy ones. So, I did a little surfing on the subject. Well, no, I really just looked at the Harmon/Kardon website... anyway, I didn't see anything. So I went to Bang & Olufson today during lunch and they had these weird looking skinny headpiece things with littleheadphone bits that looked ubergay, so I then went to the Apple store to se the Seiderhousen... Sied...Senheisser! Yeah, and they were good, sounded nice, were about $70, but they looked really... techno. They had shiny bits and were all dynamically shaped:



Very not-me.

These ones however... aren't available at the store. But are hot.



So now what? I want pretty headphones that sound good and are maybe a tiny bit wanky to match my iPod. Sigh. Maybe I can buy them online...
